Hello, Fellow Warlords!
This is an exciting quarter as it is the first one where we can cover multiple formats!
Saga
As Saga is brand new and there is currently only one set (Into the Accordlands) there is no rush to make any changes at this time. We hope this trend persists, but we are monitoring the format in the event that this changes.
Ancients
Into the Accordlands is now on the scene, but it will take some time and monitoring before deciding whether or not any changes are necessary. The Ancients Committee meeting in Q1 was mostly focused on discussing the sorts of problems to be on the lookout for and not a concern for any particular card. As always, cards will need to prove themselves as a problem before we take any action.
Alliance
This is the first quarter we’re including Alliance here and we’re excited for players to start diving into this format! As with any multiplayer format, the other players are often the great equalizer/punishing force. At this time we want to give some time for players to get into this format and find out what things might need to change.
