History of Warlord

Warlord: Saga of the Storm is a classic collectible card game returning to retail after being resurrected by two of the game’s biggest fans. Originally published in 2001 by Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG), Warlord CCG is known as “the game you already know how to play” due to its use of a D20 and popular TTRPG mechanics. If you enjoy 5E combat, rolling dice, fantasy themes, or quick-paced card games, Warlord is a game for you! Players build their decks around a Warlord and starting army, commanding their forces in snappy back and forth turn actions using a D20 to resolve success or failure as they play spells, attacks, and abilities.

In 2024 we here at Kingswood Games were able to launch a successful Kickstarter campaign to bring back this beloved card game.
