Warlord: Saga of the Storm is a classic collectible card game returning to retail after an initial Kickstarter launch. Originally published in 2001 by Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG), Warlord CCG is known as “the game you already know how to play” due to its use of a D20 and popular TTRPG mechanics. Players build their decks around a Warlord and starting army, commanding their forces in snappy back and forth turn actions using a D20 to resolve success or failure as they play spells, attacks, and abilities.

What stretch goals do you have planned?
As the campaign grows, so will the Box of Greed. If enough stretch goals are hit, it could reach as many as 100 cards. Kickstarter exclusive Box Toppers will be added alongside every Booster Box and increase in number along with the campaign.

What is the box of greed?
The Box of Greed is a great starting point for a collection of reprints from AEG and Phoenix Interactive’s Warlord publications. It includes key cards that help you get into non-rotating formats like Ancients and Alliance.

When will I get the game?
Our plan is to deliver the game in the last quarter of 2024. If you start praying to Neus immediately following your pledge the date may be pushed up. If the date changes, we will keep you informed through the campaign and our newsletters.

Is shipping included?
Shipping costs will be listed for each pledge level, charged separately, and does not include add-ons.

What parts of the world would you ship?
Like the Daft Punk song, around the world. We have different fulfillment partners for different regions and will cover most countries.

Do you ship friendly to the EU?
We are using a shipping center in Germany for EU residents and will follow all EU laws making us very friendly to the EU.

Is VAT/GST/Sales Tax included?
VAT, taxes, and pounds of flesh will be calculated and paid for after the campaign ends on the pledge manager.

Will Brexit affect delivery of my rewards?
We have a specific fulfillment partner in the UK.

How many people can play the game with the basic tier?
The basic tier includes a starter deck bundle that will get you 6 unique starter decks, one for each faction, enabling up to 6 players. This is a great place to jump in for the first time, but you should really buy a Box of Greed too.

Can I play solo or coop?
Not currently, and we don’t appreciate so much foreshadowing.

Can we play multiplayer?
We will include a new format to support multiplayer following a similar system to other popular card games. We will publish the format rules through this website, but its called the Alliance format where you build a 70 card singleton deck, grab some snacks, and around three friends. In that order!

What’s your offer for retailers?
A dollar pledge gets you access to a BackerKit. Send us an email to access a special section for brick and mortar retail stores with play space. If you want to get a head start with Warlord, take the OP Survey.

What are the odds of getting the premium cards?
Each Warlord: Saga of the Storm booster pack contains 16 cards and four rarities; 10 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 rare or legendary, 1 foil or extended art, and 1 token, ad, or rules card. 

What is the Pledge Manager? Can I manage Add-Ons and multiple rewards with it? Can I upgrade my reward with it?
You’ll be free to choose your own Warlord: Saga of the Storm adventure with the Kickstarter partner BackerKit.

Can I pay for more than one copy of the game and get shipping combined?
Shipping is calculated based on weight and size and paid for after the campaign ends.

How many sleeves will I need to sleeve my starter box?
Conveniently the minimum number of cards for a Warlord deck is 50 cards! So, grab a pack of Dragonshield sleeves and cover two decks at once!

Would the game be available in other languages?
हामी अलिकति नेपाली जान्दछौं। (We only speak a little Nepali and poquito Español so at the moment the game will only be available in English.)

What are my payment options?
Kickstarter has their forms of payment listed here. Shipping, add-ons, and all retail purchases are made through BackerKit.

I want more draft boosters, how can I buy more after the campaign ends?
By calling your local game store or checking online retailers.

Can I access the pledge manager with a $1 pledge?
Our goal with Warlord is that you can choose your own adventure. So yes, put your dollar in the slot while you decide.
