Ancients is a great way to explore the entire Warlord card pool in a two player setting! Check out the Ancients Banlist to make sure the card you’re thinking of is legal. There will be three ticketed Ancients events at Gen Con:
Alliance is a multiplayer singleton big deck smashup free-for-all that’s great for any player! To construct an Alliance deck, you just follow these simple deck building steps:
Deck Size: 70 singleton cards total
Number of Warlords: 2 (their factions don’t need to match)
Starting Army(characters): 4x Level 1, 3x Level 2
Your deck may not contain characters that have a faction which does not match one of your Warlords, including Mercenary Guild characters.
There are 18 Alliance Pod events at Gen Con*:
Thursday - 6 one-hour events running from 11AM until 4PM
Friday - 6 one-hour events running from 11AM until 4PM
Saturday - 6 one-hour events running from 11AM until 4PM
*If you don’t sign up, feel free to check in at the Warlord HQ Table.
Events will run Thursday through Saturday whenever there are four players.
