Hello, Fellow Warlords!
This quarter has been one of tremendous growth and discovery for Warlord! At this time we are not making any changes to any of the formats, but as ever we continue to monitor each with care.
Saga
While Into the Accordlands has only been around for a few months, we’ve already seen some strong decks arise, players adjust, new strong decks break out, and players adjust once again. We are monitoring public discourse on cards like Deverenus’ Axe, but lack hard standings data to help give us a better idea of where the format stands. We look forward to Q3 where we will see some higher profile competitive events which will give us more insight into the state of the Saga Format.
Ancients
Into the Accordlands has been a breathe of new life into Ancients, and the Ancients Committee has had some great discussions about all of the newly relevant cards, strategies, and decks. At this time the committee agrees that no action is needed, but we remain ever vigilant in monitoring the format to ensure that it remains as open and enjoyable as possible.
Alliance
Alliance continues to be the format where the kitchen table and your friends largely dictate the play environment. We are listening to feedback as it grows, considering when and what, if ever and if anything, to add to a banlist.
